Rajsing Gopaul (Chief Executive Officer)

Mr. Gopaul started his career at KPMG in Port Louis in 2001, where he was trained as an offshore auditor.

Senior Trust Administrator responsible for the day-to-day administration of a large portfolio of trusts and companies.

In November 2003, Mr. Gopaul took a different challenge by accepting the position of Administrative Manager of Bella Investment Services Limited, a financial intermediary company and consultant to high net worth individuals. In July 2004, he was promoted to the position of Director of that company and of its subsidiary companies.

He currently acts as CEO of Trinity Financial Services (International) Limited and also acts as director on client companies in addition to being a Protector for various Trusts established by Trinity’s clients.

Mr. Gopaul holds a honours degree in Economics from Delhi University (India) and is fluent in English, French and Hindi.

Patrice La Hausse de Lalouvière TEP (Chief Operating Officer)

In Brief:
Born 1957 in Mauritius

Career:
Patrice started his career in the banking industry in 1973 with The Mauritius Commercial Bank Limited and emigrated to South Africa in 1982 where he worked for the French Bank of Southern Africa Ltd before moving to Standard Bank of South Africa limited in 1989 where he occupied various positions at managerial level.

He returned to Mauritius in April 1999 as director of Standard Bank Trust Company (Mauritius) Limited and subsequently moved to Dale International Trust Company Limitedin June 2002.

Sanjeeven Ramasawmy ACCA (Financial Director)

In Brief:
Born 1981, in Mauritius

Career:
Mr. Ramasawmy started his career in December 2003 as an Accounts Officer with the Sugar Investment Trust in Mauritius. In April 2005, Mr. Ramasawmy was promoted to Finance Accountant of the Sugar Investment Trust, a group holding investments in the sugar milling, power generation, leisure, property development and banking sectors.

In June 2006, Mr. Ramasawmy took up the position of Team Leader at Horwath (Mauritius), a member of Horwath International, where he became involved with the audit of offshore companies and cross-border audits in the following sectors:

  • Insurance brokering services
  • Information technology
  • Leisure and tourism
  • Shipping
  • Derivative trading
  • Mineral surveying
Mr. Ramasawmy joined Dale International Trust Company Limited in February 2009 as the Chief Financial Officer and has since been appointed as Secretary and Financial Director.

Mr. Ramasawmy is fluent in English and French.

Norman Theodore Noland (Chairman)

Born 1948 in South Africa

Career:
Norman Noland is an entrepreneur and businessman and holds directorships in both JSE listed and privately owned companies in South Africa and abroad.

Until 31st August 2007 his held the executive responsibility as the Deputy CEO of the Sekunjalo Investment Group, a JSE-listed investment holding company that was rated by the Financial Mail/Empowerdex as S.A’s top empowered company for 2006.

Norman Theodore Noland

He was appointed as Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of Sekunjalo Investments limited with effect 31st August 2007 and has over 40 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Since leaving Standard Bank in 1995 he has been involved in acquiring and establishing a number of businesses, both locally and internationally in the financial services and IT sectors. His directorships in past years have embraced companies in South Africa, Mauritius, Switzerland, Germany, Luxembourg, Guernsey, Jersey and Isle of Man.

Since starting his career approx 40 years ago, he has gained significant experience whilst employed in senior management positions at large South African and International Organizations.  He has extensive experience in the International Financial Services arena, the Information Technology, Property, Property Development and Leisure Industry sectors. 

During his career he has been the recipient of many performance awards.

Mr Noland is a member of the Financial Planning Institute in South Africa (AFP) and also holds two post-graduate degrees.



Jessica Teerovengadum-Naga (Director)

In Brief:
Born 1979 in Mauritius

Career:
Jessica qualified as a Barrister (Advocate) in the UK. She first completed her law degree and a Masters in business and commercial law in Toulouse, France.

She then went to the UK to undertake the England and Wales Bar Exams, during the course of which she was awarded the Middle Temple Harmsworth Major Scholarship.

Jessica worked as a civil and commercial Barrister in London until September 2008, when she joined Dale Capital Partners Limited as a Commercial Director.

John Whatley (Director)

In Brief:
Born 1962 in the United Kingdom

Career:
John Whatley has been involved in the financial services industry since 1985. He was the compliance director of a London private client fund management company, originally established in the mid 1980’s and its unit trust management subsidiary which managed UK authorised unit trusts. John was the director responsible for all compliance, private client and unit trust administration, dealing and valuation.

John Whatley

John also acted as the Compliance officer for Appleton International Limited in London and has a wealth of experience gained serving as compliance officer for FIMBRA, IMRO and FSA regulated companies. He was also invited by the previous UK regulator, IMRO, to sit on an advisory panel to help shape UK regulation.

John has served on the board of directors of numerous UK and offshore fund management companies and in September 2005, he was invited by the shareholders of Dale to join the Group. John sits on a number of the boards of Dale Group’s investee companies, representing the shareholders and offering practical assistance and his experience gained from the UK regulated financial services industry.

John is the Chief Executive Officer of Trinity Financial Group Limited, a company listed on the Official Market of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius.
